Franciscan Healthcare’s mission is to live and to promote the healing mission of Jesus Christ. Franciscan Healthcare carries out this mission by providing quality healthcare and promoting health and wellness in the communities it serves. Franciscan Healthcare has determined that providing assistance to promote professional education and training supports its efforts to recruit and retain qualified employees, in order to further its mission.
Candidates selected for the scholarship program must be enrolled in an accredited school and be accepted into a program of study applicable to future employment. As part of the program, each student will receive:
- Paid tuition, books and fees up to $20,000 total
- Employment at Franciscan Healthcare or St. Joseph’s Elder Services
Qualifications:
- Enrolled at an accredited school and be accepted into a program of study applicable to future employment
- Must have a minimum grade point average of 3.0 and show academic promise
- Pass background check
- Required to accept gainful employment at Franciscan Healthcare or St. Joseph's Elder Services in their field of study for a specified period
