Intensive Physical Therapy
Intensive Physical Therapy is a form of therapy to allow your child to get the practice and boost they need with focus on a specific impairment or gross motor skill! Intensive Physical Therapy is designed to provide longer and more frequent therapy sessions over a shorter time span to accelerate your child’s progress. Intensive Therapy also focuses on increased repetitions at a high frequency for each skill, stimulating neuroplasticity within the brain to facilitate new motor neuronal pathways that may be absent or previously damaged. Examples of skills include bike riding, jumping, crawling or sitting.
Three program date options will be offered Monday through Friday at Franciscan Healthcare.
