Neck & Back Pain
Neck and back pain can occur due to a variety of reasons including, but not limited to: muscle or tendon strain, ligament sprain, disc injuries, arthritic changes, or trauma. As a result, individuals can experience severe pain in the neck or back and potentially even radicular symptoms into the arms or legs. Physical therapists work to identify the causes of pain and utilizes interventions to help alleviate symptoms. Treatments may include flexibility exercises, traction, strengthening and conditioning, education on proper posture, joint mobilization, nerve mobilization, and massage. Our goal is to work closely with each patient and their physician to design a treatment plan that best suits their needs and offers the quickest relief from pain and allow return to function.
